This output includes a VR app providing an
opportunity for handling the building survey course virtually, which is one of
the most fundamental courses in architecture and restoration. Within the scope
of this VR app, Coventry Ruin, one of the historical
buildings of Birmingham, was modeled and transferred to a VR environment in
which the architecture students could make measurements. The VR environment
reflects the reality of the building in the light of the collected
architectural and historical information. In the developed virtual environment,
students and teachers can make measurements by wearing VR headsets. Students in
groups of three can perform the survey process using virtual architectural
tools under the supervision of a teacher.
